Statement of the RCT/Empathy Regarding the Situation in the Penitentiary System of Georgia

The statement of the Public Defender about the situation in the penitentiary system is alarming. RCT/Empathy has repeatedly asserted that it is necessary this system to be transparent and has constant professional monitoring in process, healthcare in prisons and related problems of regulations are of particular concern. We share this strictest appraisal of the Ombudsman.
